Bangalore is the capital city of Karnataka,
located 1000 M above the sea level, and was founded by Kempagowda in the year 1537.
He decided to establish his dream city here and he took the permission of his king
Achutaraya and built four towers in all the four directions as to mark the limits
of the place. But now Bangalore has extended its limits and the four towers are
left just as historic places to remind us of the great founders of the great city.

Today Bangalore is no more a pensioner’s
paradise as it used to be. It is changing. Sobriquets like IT capital, Silicon city
are changing the old ones. Inspite of the hype surrounding
Bangalore attracts people from all over the world. International conferences
and the recent Global Investors meet (GIM) bring bureaucrats, business tycoons,
diplomats and tourist in tons, contributing to the overall development not only
in sectors like software, hotel industry, scientific and research development, automobiles,
entertainment, etc.
